Life is quite exciting right now. We are going to be closing on our home on Tuesday morning. Thanks to some fine finagling by Autumn's dad we will be closing this week and not sometime in March and with a lower interest rate to boot. Thanks Dad!
All of our belongings are now back in Wisconsin where they belong. We traveled to Minneapolis, MN this weekend to get the rest of our stuff out of storage. We thought that it would take several hours to put everything into the truck, but were able to get it all done in an hour thanks to all the help we had from Marc, Stef, Tera and Doug's parents. Thanks to you all! The moving truck is parked in our very long driveway awaiting Tuesday when we will finally be able to move everything into our home. Hooray!

New House News
Our counter offer has been accepted. We are anticipating closing around February 13th. We are so excited.

Home Sweet Home
Today Doug and Autumn went shopping for their first home. We saw many interesting and "unique" homes but also fell in love with one home in particular. We made an offer on the house and are anxiously awaiting a reply. Here are a few pictures from the house we hope will become our first home.
Here is the home from the outside. It sits on about a half acre lot. There is a 2 car garage and a storage shed.
This is part of the entry way and part of the living room.
This is the master bedroom. If we get the house we will probably add a bathroom and a closet in the space on the right of the first picture.
Below is the sweet storage area in the basement. We are pretty excited that we'll have a place to throw our stuff that isn't used as often.
Here is another picture of the basement. It is partially finished but needs a little TLC.
The laundry room is located on the first floor. All it is missing is the washer and dryer.
Here is the spacious heated 2 car attached garage.
"The Mud Room" - this room is located off of the garage and leads into the kitchen. The mud room houses the half bath and the laundry room.
Here is one of the 2 bedrooms on the first floor. Each has a cedar closet.
This is the main bathroom in the house.
And now the kitchen...recently renovated with new maple cabinets and all black appliances.
